SCADA is an acronym for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition. Basically, this is a system that gets reports on different things such as factory machines, and reports it to a central computer for analyzing or correcting. This is usually something you may not find in a Tech FAQ, as it is pretty advanced for the normal user. To make the process easier, there was a user-interface developed called the HMI. Even using this interface may require a Tech FAQ, but overall, this system is extremely powerful and necessary to run large scale factories. Learning such work can be very beneficial- as operators are highly paid to learn this information and use it.
