Wicca’s foundation are natural and nature based. Wicca is also a worldwide religions, which is most popular in countries like England, USA, Australia, and others. Wicca was first made popular in 1954 by Gerald Gardner.
Garnder stated that Wicca, of which he was a member, was a modern form of an old witchcraft religion which has existed in secret for centuries. This old religion even reaches back as far as pre-Christian Paganism in Europe. While Mr. Garner’s claims can’t be proven, it is thought that Wiccan theology first started to be combined in the early 1920’s.
Wicca has since evolved and adapted according to those whom practice it. There are various forms out there today, including Gardnerian Wicca made popular by Gerald Gardner as well as forms like Dianic Wicca. Each tradition has its own unique belief systems, rules, and rituals. Some traditions are so secret that the members must be initiated before they can learn much of anything.
There is also a new movement of Wiccans who believe that no initiation is necessary in order for you to practice Wicca - that you have a right to practice it if you so choose on your own.

There’s many different kinds of magic which Wicca members look to study. There’s protection magic and magic which is considered “good” - also known as White magic. There is also dark magic which is more of a negative energy, this “bad” magic is known as Black magic.
